4Him! Astronomy discovery illustration from Finding the Messiah @ finding-the-messiah.com

These books present an incredible string of date-specific discoveries of momentous occasions, foreshadowing and coinciding with the coming of Jesus Christ, the Messiah.  Just as God said He would (Genesis 1:14), He frequently marked these occasions with simultaneous astronomy signs.  Today, modern astronomy software can calculate and re-display those signs.

These discoveries include the date and astronomy and/or appointed-day or biblical-record correlations coinciding with:

1.

The Bright Morning Star that symbolized the child of the Virgin, the Seed of the Woman;

3.

Jacob and his family’s arrival in Egypt;

5.

The probable start date for the cloud pillar by day and fire pillar by night that guided the Hebrews in their wilderness travels;

7.

Moses and Aaron’s beginning of the Jewish priesthood, receipt of the Ten Commandments, and various other instructions for the nation of Israel;

9.

The probable start of the first of 24 divisions of Jewish priestly temple service;

The start of Daniel’s 69 sevens (Daniel 9:25–26), from which the day of the formal arrival of the Messiah could be predicted;

11.

13.

Gabriel’s announcement to Mary about her impending conception of Jesus;

15.

Mary’s pregnancy;

17.

Jesus’ presentation to the Lord in the temple as an infant;

19.

The Magi’s arrival in Bethlehem;

21.

Jesus’ unaccompanied arrival in the temple at age 12;

23.

Jesus’ crucifixion.

2.

The worldwide flood of Noah’s time and his post-flood offerings to God;

4.

The First Passover, the Jewish exodus from Egypt, and Hebrews’ presentation to the Lord at the base of Mount Horeb/Sinai

6.

That start of manna that fed the Hebrews during their 40 years in the wilderness and the associated first Jewish Sabbath;

8.

The crossing of the Jordan River by the Hebrews as they entered the land promised to their forefather Abraham;

10.

The start of construction of Solomon’s temple;

12.

Gabriel’s announcement to Zacharias that he would be the father of John the Baptist;

14.

Jesus’ conception;

16.

Jesus’ birth;

18.

The Magi’s travel between Jerusalem and Bethlehem;

20.

Herod’s slaughter of the boys in Bethlehem;

22.

Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday; and

In addition, discoveries include Jewish temple-pattern correlations with the dates of:

-

Noah’s start of the post-Flood priesthood of man,

-

Moses’ and Aaron’s start of the Jewish priesthood,

-

the beginning of the 24 divisions of Jewish priestly service,

-

the beginning of Daniel’s 69 sevens, and

-

Jesus’ crucifixion.

The answers to several challenging biblical questions fall from these discoveries.  What are the “weeks” or “sevens” in Daniel’s prophecy of when the Messiah would come?  What did Jesus mean when He said, “I am … the Bright Morning Star”?  What did the Magi see that caused them to travel hundreds of miles to find and worship the Messiah, and why did only they recognize and act upon the significance of what they and many others saw?

From the author’s perspective, this journey of discovery has been incredible.  One thing is for sure, God left a discoverable path.  He did it for a purpose.  May we be part of that purpose!
